If your are a student of our group, you can become a member of the JIS Group Alumni Association (JISGAAS).
How to become a Member :
Membership is totally free. Simply visit the respective college site and click on the alumni link. After that alumni homepage will open then once again click on the “Become a member” option and fill up all the details. If everything is correct then within a one working day your alumni account will be updated (made) & you will receive a mail from alumni relation team which consisting of your password.

human talent, all leading corporates were the main recruiters at JIS Group educational initiatives for the Placement Session 2006& 2007. Industries like DELL, INFOSYS, I-FLEX, TCS, WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES,
WIPRO SPECTRAMIND, SATYAM, L&T INFOTECH, SASKEN, KANBAY, CARITOR, CTS, IBM, ALSTOM, GECIS, TECH MAHINDRA, came down at our campuses for recruiting our students.
The
fabulous placements of JIS Group educational initiatives across the country marks again the continuous patronage of the industry towards JIS GROUP, its clear that the Group has managed to carve "a league of its
own", And this has been possible due to attracting the best names in India Inc. which in turn have recruited the best talent, all this has been possible because of the hard work put in by the faculty,
Pedagogy better than the best, and a special mention should be of the high quality performance by our alumni which is at its best if not better than any other Colleges in the region.
The positions offered at the entry-level were mainly for Management Trainee; also some of the other big recruiters for 2006 & 2007 were Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, CTS, IBM and many more.

Activities of Placement Cell |
Industries involvement for updation of curriculum
Contact with industries and each department is maintained to ensure industry
participation in planning the curriculum. Expert Lectures
Cell organizes expert lecture series during seminar or at the department
level in coordination with student organizations. Such lectures familiarize the students and the faculty with the state - of - art industry practices and their correlation with the textbook material taught.
Continuing Education Program
Continuing Education Programmes fulfilling the needs of industry personnel are arranged
by way of seminars and workshops. Training for the Students
Training is the integral part of the study to acknowledge them for real world
problems. Students are placed at various industries for several weeks and under supervision and guidance of respective industry personnel. The faculty carries out monitoring and evaluation regularly. For
Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Application programmes, full semester project / training at the particular semester is required to be carried out in industries. For other programmes
Industrial Training has to be carried out at respective industry. Student Projects
Students prepare the projects reflecting the needs and
problems of the industry. Institute faculty interacts with industry personnel for successful implementation of such projects. Training for the Faculty
Faculty is deputed to the industry to gain first hand experience on industrial plants and processes. This exposure enhances
the teaching capability of the faculty and allows them to strengthen practical applications. Supplementary programmes for Student Development
JIS Group educational initiatives organize several
programme modules to orient students about industry expectations through out the year. Additional seminars are undertaken by the students
in each semester to improve learning in the areas like Literature Survey, Personality Development, Group Discussion and Presentation Skills. Moreover, opportunities for communication skills enhancement are
provided. |

Campus Interview and Placements
Campus interviews are organized by inviting various companies for the placement of the
students for jobs. It fulfills dual purposes, one for students securing their future career, another for the industry securing the best fresh talents available in the region to train and mould them for their
long time need of the employees. JIS Group educational initiatives invites reputed organizations for campus interviews and placements. JIS appreciates enquires regarding campus interviews from
industries. Placement process consists following steps. 1. Job Announcement Form-Submission
The company is required to fill and return the Job Announcement Form
Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)
PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting company and the students to interact with each other. The presentation by the company about itself and jobs available
contributes largely to a student is decision to apply for the same. 2. Campus interviews procedure

facilities for written test, Group discussion, Preliminary and Final interviews at our campus. 3
