Will I get a student card? What about
a Library card?
A JIS Group educational initiatives is in the process of introducing
the digital-card, JIS Group educational initiatives new official photo
ID Card launched in 2005. New and current students will
be issued a library card, College's current ID card. It
acts as proof you're a registered student at JIS Group educational initiatives . It's required all information in detail, along
with two current colour passport size photo.
You
are then encouraged to visit the concerned person (normally
in Admission Cell) on campus to have your photo taken and
receive a I.D card and Library card. The ID-card can be
used as photo ID on campus for exams and Campus Recruitment
Drive. The ID-card also gives you easy access to services
on campus. The Library card is the ticket to access library.
The ID-card will eventually eliminate the need for sessional
identification cards. It will not cost you anything. (If
you lose it however, there is a Rs. 50 replacement fee).

Q Do I still need my Identity card?
A You will be issued an I.D card for both first and second
semester. During this transition, you are welcome to use
the ID card for entry into exams, college events, orientation
activities and other needs as appropriate. ID cards will
no longer be produced after this transition phase. You will
be issued another ID Card in the next year.
You will require a library-card to access Library services
beginning July 2007.
